The Berardo Vineyard is a south facing hillside site planted in rocky calcareous shale and sand, much like the hillside slopes of Italy’s Barolo and Barbaresco regions. The dark fruited Lampia clone of Nebbiolo excels in this vineyard and is blended with clones 142 and 230 from the Luna Matta Vineyard for the Paso Robles Nebbiolo blend.

This vineyard is also the source for a very structured and deep Lagrein.
